I’m a designer curious about how our surroundings influence our feelings and behaviors, and how human needs and wants impact our environment.

I enjoy creating experiences, spaces, and brands that channel the values, passions, and purpose of the people driving them.

During a brief career as a dancer with the New York City Ballet I also explored my interests in technology, art, and community with a multi-contributor blog called The Winger.

Over time, I became fascinated with how and why people are compelled to do the things they do. I made many short docs for brands, shooting and interviewing all sorts of people from architects to musicians to civil rights activists to athletes and CEOs.

This purpose-driven content led to full branding assignments for a variety of well-known organizations with my partner at JaegerSloan Studio.

Creating a giant LED balloon canopy for Vimeo in Las Vegas.
Vimeo’s first trade show and our first booth design ended up winning an award for the best medium-sized booth at NAB and led to three years of designing shows for them in Vegas and Amsterdam until COVID hit.

After moving from NYC to the Catskills with my partner, we had the opportunity to design our own ground-up live/work space in the woods and further explore our interest in the built environment.

We also began hosting people at our guest cabin and came to realize how much we enjoy designing spaces and experiences for other people.

Rosebud Tsubomi is a 4000sf new construction private home in Gardiner, New York.
A couple that was staying at our rental properties during COVID asked for our thoughts on a new home they were creating with their builder father. We ended up applying the same workshop model we’ve developed for our corporate clients to this residential challenge and delivered the schematic design for the home as well as interior detailing and built-ins.

Today, we design properties to be shared by family, friends, and guests while also working to optimize various aspects of how the home is managed and maintained.

We also take on select consulting or new construction projects to help earnest property owners envision ideal designs based on their unique needs and dreams.

This work spans from identifying a property, to creating schematic designs, to specifying home automations and designing custom built-ins and furnishings.
